Ms. Annable is a fine art photographer working primarily in black and white. She maintains a special fondness for the wet darkroom.
She directs the elements of light, time and space to change our perceptions of the world and reveal unseen things. Her images are often enigmatic, surreal and just a little bit dangerous.
Ms. Annable’s work has been published in B&W + Color Magazine: Single Image Contest 2012 (Bronze Award) and Black and White Portfolio Contest; Photographer's Forum: Best of Photography 2010 and 2011; and F-Stop Magazine.
Among the juried gallery exhibitions in which she has participated are the Berlin Foto Biennale
(October 2016), The Griffin Museum of Photography, Filter Photo at David Weinberg Gallery, The
Center for Fine Art Photography, The Vermont Photography Workplace Gallery, Morpho Gallery,
and The Bridgeport Art Center. Additional recognition has come from B&W Spider Awards, Prix
de la Photographie, The Photo Review, and The Julia Margaret Cameron Awards. A two-person exhibition with her sister, "Two Sisters Two Lenses", was held at The Box Factory for the Arts.
She is married and lives in Chicago and, sometimes, St. Joseph, Michigan.
